WOOLRICH

Woolrich has opened a new flagship location in New York City. The new 4,000 foot store is located on Wooster Street, a few doors down from its former location.

Designed in partnership with architect Andrea Caputo, the store's aesthetic focuses on organic elements like timber plank ceilings, raw bark detailing, living greenery arrangements and more throughout. Other great elements in the space include an on-site café, a customization experience as well as a museum area that celebrates Woolrich's rich history.

Its most popular addition will be an epic snow room, which debuted in the companies Milan flagship in 2017. The room will allow customers to experience extreme weather conditions such as snowstorms and freezing temperatures, while providing an opportunity to test and appreciate the quality and performance of the brand’s outerwear.

"When I developed the concept for NY, I was focused on the desire to address consumer needs along with the changes I saw happening in the retail environment," says global creative director, Andrea Canè in a press release. "Our constantly on-the-go culture, the rapid pace of life today and the need for store layouts to be adaptable - were all drivers for the concept development."
