Editor’s Notes: Matthew Williams’ label 1017 ALYX 9SM has given its technical hiking boot a neck-breaking makeover. Instead of the classic triple-black colorway, this version features a high-vis orange upper with black accents and black Vibram midsole.

Produced in collaboration with outdoor specialist ROA, the low hiking boot is an example of the hiking and trail running influences that have permeated sneaker culture in recent seasons.

The chunky midsole comes with a durable tread that's built to last, while the nylon detailing offers all-weather hardiness as well as eye-popping aesthetics.
