Laces or no laces? The adidas Samba Jane somehow manages to do both.

How is this possible, you may ask? Well, adidas has introduced a version that features laces and its signature Mary Jane strap.

It's not your usual shoelaces, though. This particular Samba Jane features stretchy lace-ups which stop just before the strap. Aside from the small portion, the rest of the sneaker remains lace-free. The brand has also done this with its Barreda model.

That's one way to get the best of both worlds.

It's not surprising coming from the Samba Jane, which isn't your normal Mary Jane. It features the Samba's signature rubber soles and even parts of the upper, but in a ballet-coded format.

It has also received some unique and luxurious spins, including the viral T-bar releases and "Summer Glow" pack. Now, it's out here rocking laces and Mary Jane straps.

The laced-up adidas Samba Jane comes in black, white, and silver colorways. They're now up for grabs on Billy's website for ¥15,400, or around $98.
