The weather's cooling down, so the adidas Samba is zipping up (again).

The German sportswear brand has released a new zippered Samba sneaker, featuring zip-up suede uppers. There are laces underneath, but where's the fun in that? Zip it up!

adidas has done a few zip-up Sambas over the years, including a Samba Decon rendition and the Jeremy Scott collaboration. Even before these recent efforts, Stone Island's 2009 Sambas embraced zippers and military-level materials. And it was actually lace-free.

adidas' newest Samba possesses a similar rugged feel. It features rubber mudguards that help protect the shoe and make it more durable. They also give it a more outdoorsy feel. It also comes in earthy colorways like "Black," "Dusty Ink," and "Dusky Bronze."

As of now, the zip-up Sambas are available in many colorways on adidas Japan's website for ¥17,600, or $111.
