Things are getting wild in the adidas group chat, as another scaly Mary Jane sneaker hybrid slithers into the scene.

Forget a black swan. The latest Tokyo MJ sneaker has gone full black mamba, with glossy black "scales" covering the slim upper.

Even with cold blood running its veins now, adidas' Mary Jane sneaker is still a ballerina at heart. It maintains much of its ballet-coded details, like its signature stretchy straps and the ultra-flat soles borrowed from the OG Tokyo sneaker.

As a ballet-style model, the Tokyo MJ has done the standard cutesy designs, like proudly pink looks, and even luxurious leather. But adidas' Mary Jane sneaker isn't afraid to get weird and wild either, and that's one of the great things about the shoe.

Believe it or not, this isn't the model's first snakeskin-covered rodeo. adidas has covered the model in scales before, and even made a silver snakeskin iteration.

Speaking of which, both the black and silver pairs are now available on adidas Kuwait's website for around $130. And don't worry, they won't bite.
