This Fashion Week, adidas and Willy Chavarria come bearing gifts. At his Fall/Winter 2025 menswear show — his first show in Paris — the Mexican American designer debuted some all-new adidas sneakers.

An adidas-Chavarria team-up always yields excellent results, and their latest collab is no different. For his PFW debut, Charvarria reimagined adidas' Forum sneaker in six different ways, offering the basketball shoe in a range of styles.

The Chavarria Forum Boot and the Chavarria Forum Boot Hi are two G.I. Joe-esque boots, complete with platformed outsoles and shin-grazing. Naturally, adidas' take on a combat boot still looks like a sneaker, thanks to its rubber toe cap and tonal Three Stripes along the side.

The Chavarria Forum Low 84 and the Chavarria Forum Hi 84 are also military-inspired, just with more of the retro flair you'd expect from an '80s basketball sneaker.

Then there's the Chavarria Forum Heel sneaker, a slim-built stomper with a leather upper and a slightly pointed toe. The real action pops off at the outsole, though, with a kitten heel that's right on trend with the contentious rise of high-heeled sneakers.

This isn't the first time Chavarria and adidas have linked up to turn classic sneakers into avant-garde wonders. Chavarria famously revived adidas' archival Jabbar sneaker last September during New York Fashion Week.

Earlier this week, the duo announced they would drop a few pairs as part of a special PFW activation, complete with a merch capsule that will be sold at secret locations across the French capital.

A release date for this new Forum series isn’t available yet. But if the timing of Chavarria’s Jabbar release is anything to go by, it could be a while.
