Prior to its release on February 9, Highsnobiety got up close and personal with the highly anticipated Apple HomePod system.

As seen in the video above, we test out the new wireless speaker's Siri intelligence and spatial awareness technology, which is delivered in high-fidelity 360-degree sound.

Designed to automatically adjust itself based on its location, the custom woofers deliver crisp, clear audio. This is particularly important considering Siri's intelligence gives you access to over 45 million songs.

We also have a go at testing about the HomePod's ability to double up as an intelligent home assistant. As demonstrated, the HomePod is receptive to voice commands and can be linked to any number of your smart home accessories, including kitchen appliances and blinds.

Able to operate via your desired iOS device as well as touch surface controls, the Apple HomePod is undeniably versatile.

Available in white and "Space Grey," the new Apple HomePod retails for $349 and will make its way to U.S. stores February 9.

In case you missed it, Highsnobiety also managed to try out the Nike's React Cushioning. Check out our review here
