In addition to teasing their new lineup of iMacs, Apple has taken the opportunity to today unveil the updated iPad Pro. Available in 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch variants, the device welcomes the world’s most advanced display with ProMotion technology and unmatched performance with the new A10X Fusion chip.

The 10.5-inch model in turn reduces the borders by nearly 40 percent, still weighing in at just one pound.

Users can take advantage of various tools such as the all-new Files app, customizable Dock, improved multitasking and deeper integration of Apple Pencil, allowing them to be even more productive and creative.

“These are by far the most powerful iPads we’ve ever created with the world’s most advanced displays featuring ProMotion, the powerful new A10X Fusion chip and the advanced camera system of iPhone 7,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing. “Together with iOS 11 these new iPad Pro models will radically change what users can do with iPad.”

The iPad Pro’s redesigned Retina display, which is Apple’s brightest iPad display to date, comes packaged with ProMotion, a new technology that delivers refresh rates of up to 120Hz for more fluid scrolling, enhanced responsiveness and smoother motion content, all equating to even more natural drawing. In addition, the new and improved display notes antireflective coating, making the screen noticeably easier to see indoors and out.

The 64-bit A10X Fusion chip powers the tablet faster than most PC laptops, making it optimum for editing photos and 4K video, as well as rendering 3D images.

The updated iPad Pro also touts the same advanced front and back-facing cameras as the iPhone 7, including a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and a 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera.

All the while, a four-speaker audio system provides clear and powerful stereo-quality sound.

Starting at $649 USD, Apple’s all-new iPad Pro models are available to order beginning today. For more, follow here.
