Rumors surrounding a wireless MagSafe Battery Pack have been circulating for quite some time, and now Apple has finally dropped the highly anticipated accessory online.

Following successful releases like the Apple AirTag and the M1 Chip iMac, the launch of the new accessory was a surprisingly quiet one from the technology giant, arriving without marketing or an announcement – unlike previous new products.

Formatted to fit the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models (if you have anything older, it won't work), the battery pack magnetically attaches to the back of your phone and provides safe wireless charging automatically. In addition, the MagSafe Battery Pack also works with a Lightning cable plugged in, and with a 20W or higher power adapter you can charge your battery pack and iPhone faster when you're in a rush.

The MagSafe Battery Pack is the latest addition to Apple's MagSafe accessory series, which includes everything from cases to attachable wallets, and is now available online on Apple's website where it retails at $99.
