Balmain

After teasing its forthcoming sneaker collection last month, Balmain is giving Londoners first access to the new collection via a customization pop-up store in Selfridges. The prestigious department store will host the pop-up, which opens today, for two weeks, giving shoppers the chance to get their hands on the sneaker drop before anyone else and take part in exclusive customization workshops.

Located in The Corner Shop – a prime location within the department store – the pop-up centers around the idea of personalization, with artists on hand to help customers create one-of-a-kind luxury products. Drawing inspiration from Balmain’s recent collections, the main themes for customization are graffiti, studs, and Japanese graphics. Within the sleek metallic space, customers are able to spray, ink, emboss, and even add studs to the Parisian brand’s products.

Alongside sneakers, the pop-up is also offering customers the chance to peruse and personalize an exclusive unisex ready-to-wear collection and cop limited-edition accessories including a solid silver phone cover, zippo lighter, studs, and dust mask. There’s even a DIY customization kit for sale complete with a branded spray can, nitrile black gloves, paint pens, spray caps, and stencils.

Balmain’s pop-up is open now at Selfridges London until July 7. Head to the balmain.com for more information.
