Highsnobiety

Dior is one of several high-end brands that has managed to establish a foothold among the sneaker community in spite of its sometimes prohibitive retail prices thanks to fashion-forward and on-trend designs, as well as collaborations that speak to a wider and less-traditional audience. Evidence of this is Dior’s hugely-hyped and still-upcoming Nike Air Jordan collaboration, which comprises both a high and low Air Jordan 1 featuring Dior’s monogram pattern.

Since taking over at the helm of the French fashion house in 2018, creative director Kim Jones has played a huge role in bringing Dior back to relevancy among the younger streetwear crowd. Sneakers such as the sportwear-inspired B24 and the Chuck Taylor-inspired B23 are central to the brand’s popularity. While high-end brands can sometimes alienate consumers with over-the-top and gaudy designs, Jones and Dior have kept things simple, pulling from existing silhouettes that are proven in the sneaker world and giving them a Dior flip.

While the Air Dior is scheduled to be released at some point in April 2020 and is probably the most anticipated release of the year, Dior has a lot more to offer in terms of in-house designs. To keep track of all of the Dior sneakers available now and released over the past few seasons, we’ve put together a comprehensive list below.

Dior Combat Boots

Brand: Dior

Model: Combat Boots

Key Features: The boots feature a hybrid construction with the front typical of desert chukkas and military boots and the back half of the midsole and heel reminiscent of Dior’s sneaker offerings. The boots also feature a suede bootie that extends past the ankle and a lace toggle for quick tightening and loosening.

Release Date: February 2019

Buy: Resell sites like StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes: Dior unveiled this luxurious line of hybrid combat-style boots designed by Kim Jones for SS19, featuring a split-style sole for a look that’s part-sneaker, part-military boot. A pop of color can be seen on the plastic heel counter, while the rest of the midsole is done up in white and black.

Dior Chukka

Brand: Dior

Model: Chukka

Key Features: Dior’s SS19 lineup also featured a chukka-style Derby shoe without the bootie, finished up in suede. With this model we once again see the back half of the midsole looking reminiscent of other sneakers by the luxury brand.

Release Date: February 2019

Buy: Resell sites like StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes: This pair is another model Kim Jones masterminded for Dior, hence the sneaker-familiar midsole that was also seen on the Combat Boots.

Dior Derby Shoe

Brand: Dior

Model: Derby

Key Features: The Derby shoe features a full leather upper atop the same hybrid sole that showcases some pop of color in the heel area. These low-tops are constructed to fit elegant occasions, while maintaining a contemporary look.

Release Date: February 2019

Buy: Resell sites like StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes: All Derby silhouettes from this release came in shiny uppers rendered in both blue and black colorways. One pair took the glossy look further by complementing it with a textured upper which was very reminiscent of snakeskin.

Dior B23

Brand: Dior

Model: B23

Key Features: Dior’s B23 sneaker is offered in low-top and high-top editions, featuring a leopard print upper in jacquard nylon, side-stitched construction, nylon lining, a rubber pull tab, a textured Dior logo on the midsole, and cotton laces.

Release Date: August 2019

Buy: LowHigh

Editor’s Notes: The entire upper of the B23 is done up in jacquard nylon leopard print, while clear panels provide structural support. Additional features include a two-tone white and black rubber sole with a textured Dior signature on the midsole. The B23 is then equipped with a black rubber pull tab and white cotton laces.

Dior B24 Runtek

Brand: Dior

Model: B24 Runtek

Key Features: Dior’s B24 sneaker is offered in multicolored ripstop nylon options. A logo-stamped ribbon weaves throughout the upper, alongside a lace-up vamp framed by calfskin with hiking-inspired details.

Release Date: November 2019

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: The B24 Runtek sneakers are uniquely crafted in ripstop nylon. Logo-stamped ribbons crisscross the exterior, adding texture and dimension to the pieced upper. The lace-up vamp is framed by calfskin, while sculpted rubber comprises the back and sole. The hiking-inspired details look best when paired with contrasting styles, such as tailored fine wool suiting.

Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG

Brand: Dior x Nike

Model: Air Jordan 1 High OG

Key Features: The special AJ1 is made entirely in Italy featuring a mixture of white and Dior Gray leather, with an Oblique monogrammed Swoosh (similar in style to the graphic featured on the fashion house’s popular B23 high-top sneaker) and hand-painted edges. “Air Dior” was also applied to Jordan’s familiar Wings logo. Lastly, the 1s are finished with a translucent outsole below.

Release Date: April 2020

Price: TBA

Buy: Select Dior stores and pop-ups worldwide

Editor’s Notes: Dior and Nike unveiled their collaborative Air Jordan 1 at the Dior Pre-Fall 2020 show in Miami back in December 2019. Coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan, the limited-edition Air Jordan 1 High OG underscores the timeless appeal of the sneaker and the style of Maison Dior.

Prior to the official debut, Travis Scott gave a preview of Dior’s Air Jordan 1 via his Instagram Story. Designed using the same principles as a luxury bag, Kim Jones’ goal was to make “the most luxurious Air Jordan 1 ever.”

Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 Low

Brand: Dior x Nike

Model: Air Jordan 1 Low

Key Features: The design is similar to its high-top counterpart, combining Dior grey color-blocking with a monogrammed Swoosh. The shoe features “Air Dior” branding on the Wings logo on the heel and “Dior Air” on the tongue.

Release Date: April 2020

Price: TBA

Buy: Select Dior stores and pop-ups worldwide

Editor’s Notes: After Dior Men’s head of footwear, Thibo Denis, teased the Low variant of the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 on Instagram, we finally got our first official at the upcoming sneaker at the Pre-Fall 2020 show.

Dior Homme Sweat

Brand: Dior

Model: Sweat

Key Features: The low-top sneaker features both fleece and leather on the upper. The dark indigo washed fleece is accented with black leather and metallic silver accents on the heel.

Release Date: March 2011

Buy: Resell sites like StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes:  As part of the house's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, Dior Homme released the Sweat. With its rather minimalistic look (in part due to color), the sneaker is a strong contender for wardrobe staple.

Dior Homme B22

Brand: Dior

Model: B22

Key Features: The B22 sneaker comes finished in silver-tone calfskin, featuring a clear white rubber sole. A "Dior Homme" logo is embossed into the lower side of the upper as well as the inner sole to finish off the casua look.

Editor’s Notes: Alongside the pull tabs on the tongue and moustache,  the kicks were released with accompanying white cotton laces.

Dior Homme B21 Knitted

Brand: Dior

Release Date: October 2017

Buy: Resell sites like StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes: Following in the footsteps of silhouettes like the Nike Lunar Epic Flyknitadidas NMD City Sock and the Balenciaga Speed Trainer, Dior serves up their own sock-like sneaker design, crafted from a functional woven material. The design incorporates specific sportswear-inspired elements that we’ve been seeing from many luxury brands over the last few years.

Dior Runner

Brand: Dior

Model: Runner

Key Features: The made-in-Italy sneakers feature an exaggerated sole unit, "Dior Homme" badge on the profile of the shoe, rope laces, heel tab, and mixed color-blocking.

Release Date: February 2018

Buy: Resell sites like StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes:  First spotted on the feet of A$AP Rocky in July 2017, the Dior runners later appeared on the Instagram of Dior Homme’s artistic director Kris Van Assche. While the bulky style certainly channelled the predominantly chunky aesthetic purveyed by Balenciaga, Gucci, and others, Dior's variation was a more modest take, evoking a strong  ’90s aesthetic without reaching the point of absurdity.

Dior B17

Brand: Dior

Model: B17

Key Features:  This release comes in a matte calf and techno canvas upper, alongside a hidden lacing system and white rubber sole.

Release Date: September 2015

Buy: Resell sites likes StockX and GOAT

Editor’s Notes: The B17 sneaker was originally released in navy/burgundy, white/black and grey/white colorways.

Dior B25 High Top

Brand: Dior

Model: B25 High Top

Key Features:  These sporty-meets-futuristic kicks consist of an upper modeled entirely in white technical fabric and showcases some matte rubber detailing. A side-zip closure carefully splits the "Dior" print logo on top of it in half (when opened). In addition, we see pull tabs in the rear of the shoes, as well as a rubber sole.

Price: $870

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: The made in Italy silhouette runs small, as noted on the official website, so consider buying a half size up.

Price: $700

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: The Dior logo on the side of the kicks is masterminded by artist and designer Daniel Arsham. The signature Dior bee is left untouched rendering the B01  a good option for informal (and even some formal) occasions.

Dior x Daniel Arsham CD1 Calfskin

Brand: Dior x Daniel Arsham

Model: CD1

Key Features: A calf skin and mesh upper is treated with an eye-catching tie dye print that takes inspiration from Daniel Arsham’s art.

Release Date: March 2020

Price: $1,150

Editor’s Notes: Dior’s fashion-forward runner is dressed in a tie-dye graphic that fades from the toe to the heel, making it both eye-catching and subtle at the same time.

Dior Walk'N'Dior Low Top

Brand: Dior

Model: Walk'N'Dior Low Top

Key Features: The low-top women's sneaker comes dressed in a white canvas upper alongside gold-plated D-Ring eyelets. The thick rubber sole boasts a "Dior J'Adior” logo embossment in the outsole's heel as well as some more “Christian Dior J'Adior” branding on the inner sole.

Price: $850

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: According to the Dior website, the Walk'N'Dior silhouette is reported to run larger, so sizing down is recommended.

Dior B25 Low Top

Key Features: The B25's upper is made of black technical fabric and showcases intricate stitching. Similar to the house's high-top variant, the laceless kicks are also decorated with the printed  "Dior" logo running down the zip closure on the vamp.

Price: $820

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: This made-in-Italy model comes with a padded insole and textured rubber sole in black, pink and white colorways. The Dior website suggests ordering this silhouette half a size larger than you typically would.

Dior B01 Blue Suede Calfskin

Brand: Dior

Model: B01 Blue Suede Calfskin

Key Features: Arriving in navy blue, black and white colorways, the sneaker is constructed of calfskin.

Buy: Dior

Editor’s Notes: Featuring both smooth and suede calfskin, the B01 silhouette is a simple statement piece that works well with outfits in similar colors (navy blue, black or white) to give you an elegant, monotone look.
