Following Dior Homme’s release of the sock-like B21 sneaker, the menswear division of Christian Dior looks to challenge Balenciaga‘s current reign of sought-after designer runners again, as the fashion imprint’s artistic director Kris Van Assche provides a sneak peek into its next offering.
This time aiming to contend against Balenciaga’s popular Triple-S silhouette, the forthcoming Dior Homme variation essentially shares the same aesthetic vibe with a chunky profile, as it further adds to the chunky sneaker trend that has magnified with the emergence of Kanye West’s YEEZY Wave Runner 700.
Although there is little info regarding store locations and availability, the Dior Homme Runners are set to drop January 18, 2018.
