Double Tap to Zoom

Yes, it’s that time of year again. Comfort is about to become number one priority. You’ll try and fight it but inevitably we’ll all give into a good ol’ clog. This one though, is everything we love about them and yet, better.

We’re talking about Birkenstock’s Loma, of course.

If you’re going to give in, you may as well do it properly. The Loma has that chunky, easy-going shape we’ve all come to know, but the wide strap gives it a little more personality. It’s a small change, but it makes the whole thing feel a little less predictable.

The suede helps, too. It has that soft, slightly worn-in look that makes sense the second the temperature drops. And this is very much a shoe you can throw on with pretty much anything. Loose jeans? Obviously. Big pants? Even better. Some questionable combination you’ve somehow convinced yourself works? The Loma will probably pull it together.

Then there’s the obvious bit, comfort. The contoured footbed is doing what Birkenstock does best, while the EVA sole keeps things light enough for an everyday shoe. Add in a pair of fun socks and you’ve basically got your uniform sorted for the next few months.

To sum up, it’s the fall clog. We’ve all been warned.
