Who's ready for a Punk’d revival? MTV Studios is partnering with new mobile streaming platform Quibi to bring back the popular 2000s prank show famously hosted by co-creator Ashton Kutcher. Now, however, it isn't Kutcher doing the pranking. Instead, Chance the Rapper has been tapped to host the new era of Punk’d.

Punk’d is one of MTV’s most iconic franchises,” said the Grammy award-winning artist. “I grew up watching this show and it’s surreal to be in the driver’s seat this time around on Quibi.”

MTV insists that with Quibi, Punk’d is being reimagined for a new generation. Hosted by Chance, you can look forward to new hoaxes and new celebrity marks, coming exclusively to the mobile video platform in bite-sized episodes. Celebrity "guests" will, however, be announced at a later date.

Quibi, the first entertainment platform designed specifically for your phone, is scheduled to launch April 6 of this year.

Punk’d aired for 10 seasons beginning in 2003 and running until March of 2007. The show spotlighted celebrities as they were unknowingly pranked by host Ashton Kutcher.
