Chance the Rapper has taken to social media to tell fans that he is postponing upcoming tour dates following the birth of his second daughter, Marli.

Posting a picture of himself and his daughters to Instagram, Chance's caption explained in detail the reasons behind his decision. Namely, he explains, postponing the tour is to avoid missing important milestones in his daughter's first few weeks and also to ensure he's around to help out his wife, Kirsten Corley.

"When Kensli was born, I went on tour 2 weeks later and missed some of the most important milestones in her life," Chance wrote, talking of his first child. "But more importantly I was absent when her mother needed me the most. At this point as a husband and father of two I realize that I can’t make that mistake again. I need to be as helpful and available as possible to my wife in these early months of raising Kensli and Marli.”

Elsewhere, Chance apologizes to fans for the rescheduling and reveals that the new tour kicks off on January 15. Those unable to attend the new dates are of course eligible for refunds. Find his explanation in full below.
