With a month away from release, 20th Century Fox drops the final trailer for Deadpool 2. In typical DP fashion, the two-minute spotlight is riddled with non-stop action, hilarious pop culture jokes, and spot on one liners.
As Wade Wilson goes toe-to-toe with the menacing Cable to protect a mutant child, Ryan Reynold dishes out more shots than he does punches. He takes a jab at The Goonies, which Josh Brolin (Cable) starred in. He pokes fun at his first and very forgettable Deadpool role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Finally, Wilson throws shade at DC Universe for their consistent dark and moody films.
Expect scream out "shots fired!" even more when the Deadpool 2 hits theaters May 18.
Many stars from the first film make a comeback including Blind Al (Leslie Uggams), Weasel (T.J. Miller), and Dopinder (played by Karan Soni) alongside new interesting characters Domino (Zazie Beetz) and Bedlam (Terry Crews).
