Editor’s Notes: Technical apparel brand Goldwin has just released its most outdoor-focused collection to date. For Spring/Summer 2021, the label is catering to serious outdoor enthusiasts and passionate athletes, while also delivering styles for the more relaxed city dweller.
As is customary with the Japanese brand, the new seasonal collection is broken down into three categories: Outdoor, Athletic, and Lifestyle. The Outdoor and Athletic products provide the wearer with premium clothing that not only looks good, but also performs under harsh conditions.
Goldwin's SS21 Outdoor assortment is characterized by advanced materials such as PERTEX Shield Air and GORE-TEX Paclite, as styles like the Element Jacket, GORE-TEX Spur Mountain Jacket, and Mount Dwellers Jacket are designed to enhance the outdoor experience. The Athletic onslaught is then largely comprised of garments that are minimal in aesthetic, but meant for rigorous performance.
And last but not least, Goldwin's new Lifestyle capsule combines the best of the brand's outdoor and athletic innovations with stylish urban designs that point to its Japanese heritage. Standouts include the Mac Coat, Stand Collar Jacket, and One Tuck Tapered Stretch Twill Pants.
