During Paris Fashion Week SS19, Highsnobiety stopped by Virgil Abloh and IKEA's showroom to get a closer look at some of the best pieces from the pair's upcoming collection.

While there, we talked to IKEA creative lead Henrik Most and Abloh about what the collection represents. Bridging the gap between art, fashion, music, and design, the primary goal was to fashion a home for millennials that strongly reflects their identity.

To delve deeper into the design methodology and Abloh's definition of what the term "streetwear" has come to mean in the current cultural landscape, take a peek at the video up top. After watching, let us know your thoughts in the comments.

In other design news, here's everything we saw at BAPE's XXV anniversary exhibit.
