We've become accustomed to Jacquemus presenting its collection in far-flung locations away from the hustle of Paris. For SS20 Simon Jacquemus invited guests to his native Provence to show the collection in a lavender field, while SS19's Menswear show took us to the beach.

For his latest collection, the designer once again took to the sand and the sea to present his fashion show, but this time he took it one step further. Showing outside of France for the first time, Spring 2022 was set in Hawaii.

Titled "Le Splash" we already had an idea about what shape the collection would take since it was previewed through a campaign with Bad Bunny, but seeing the clothes on the runway surrounded by picturesque sea views provided the summer escapism we have come to know and love from the designer.

In the show, looks were separated into color groups beginning with light beige linen and going on to display his penchant for bright colors such as bold green, blue, and orange hues before concluding with four predominantly black looks.

Walking along the runway which was placed onto the sandy beach was the summer holiday wardrobe of dreams. There was bright oversized tailoring, loose-fitting shirts, simple slip-on footwear, and, of course, his signature playful bags.

And the good news for anyone who is preparing a tropical getaway is that it's already available to shop.

Since July 2021, the brand has been showing in-season which means it has scrapped the usual 6-month wait between a collection being shown on the runway and it hitting shop floors.

Due to this, less than a month after first being introduced to the clothes, we've picked out favorite items to shop from the Le Splash collection. Check out our selection below.
