The latest episode of Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk featuring her husband Will Smith had everyone grabbing their popcorn and has set a new record for the most views in 24 hours from a Facebook Watch original episode.

According to Deadlinethe highly anticipated episode garnered more than 15 million views in the first 24 hours, smashing the previous record of 7.6 million views also held by the Red Table Talk for its infamous Jordyn Woods episode.

The episode drew such crazy numbers because it saw the celebrity couple address rumors that Jada had an affair with R&B singer-songwriter August Alsina, which Will allegedly knew about.

In an interview with Angela Yee last week, Alsina made the incendiary claims that he had been in a relationship with Jada while she was married, even alleging that Will gave him his blessing. The news sent social media into a frenzy, with Jada initially refuting the claims.

However, on July 2, Pinkett Smith tweeted: “There’s some healing that needs to happen… so I’m bringing myself to The Red Table.”

In the episode of the Facebook Watch series, the couple revealed that Pinkett Smith and Alsina did have a romantic relationship – or an "entanglement" – four and a half years ago, which Will and Jada claim happened when they were separated.

While the episode did shed light on some of the specifics of the "entanglement" and did crazy numbers, it also yielded what feels like a whole new genre of memes. And you can check out some below.
