Will Smith celebrated his momentous 50th birthday by bungee-jumping out of a helicopter into the Grand Canyon.

The award-winning actor shared the moment on his YouTube channel, featuring his family and friends, including former co-star Alfonso Ribeiro from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, who all watched it first-hand.

According to Variety, Will Smith decided to attempt the thrilling feat after being challenged by YouTube group Yes Theory in March. Smith agreed to the jump to take part in promoting awareness for Global Citizen’s education efforts.

Will Smith also took to Instagram in the hours before the jump, sharing a photo of his family, and his team, who tested the gear before Smith took the official bungee jump plunge.
