Joji just released his latest single, “Gimme Love,” and announced that it will feature on his upcoming sophomore album, Nectar. The track arrives with a compelling music video co-directed by the 88rising artist.

Joji took to Instagram to announce the new song and reveal that the album will drop on July 10. "Gimme Love" is expected to be the third single off the anticipated album, following the songs "Run" and "Sanctuary."

"Gimme Love" is a ballad that sees Joji begging a lover to return his affections, over a lo-fi electronic instrumental. In the accompanying music video, Joji takes on multiple different roles, and in flashing scenes climbs the ranks from a young student to a decorated engineer. At the end of it all, he still finds himself alone and hopeless. "Everyone's looking for someone to hold / But I can't let you go," Joji sings as he hijacks a rocket and takes off into space.
