Double Tap to Zoom

My, how Air Jordans have evolved. We went from watching them win championships with MJ to them becoming hardy and handsome winter boots. I'm talking about the Air Jordan 9, of course.

Nike first released its Jordan 9 Retro boots in 2017, ultimately treating the signature basketball shoe like an ACG model. It's become something of a winter staple since its debut, often returning during the colder seasons. And this season, we're getting the "Olive" Jordan 9 boot again.

What's special about this release is that Nike turned the model's original 1994 colorway into a winter stomper. It combines the familiar olive-green suede touches with hardier leather, hiking-style metal eyelets, and updated outsoles built for tough conditions.

It quite literally gave a certified classic the boot, in a good way.

Beyond the winterized "Olive" versions, the sportswear brand has also introduced new options, like "Anthracite" Jordan boots with mermaid-level reflective details.
