We're only a couple weeks away from Justin Timberlake's highly-anticipated halftime-performance at the Super Bowl LII. For many, this of course brings back memories of his infamous appearance at the 2004 show - the performance that resulted in Janet Jackson's 'wardrobe malfunction.' Timberlake has yet to make a public apology for the incident, but he has addressed the mishap (as well as he and Janet's relationship) in a new interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. Watch a clip above.

“I stumbled through it, to be quite honest, I had my wires crossed and it’s just something that you have to look back on and go like, OK, well you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it," Timberlake says regarding his return. When Lowe asked if he and Jackson had mended fences, he replies "Absolutely, yeah. And I don’t know that a lot of people know that. I don’t think it’s my job to do that because you value the relationships that you do have with people.”

Super Bowl LII takes place on Sunday, February 4. Justin Timberlake's new album Man of the Woods is out the preceding Friday, February 2. Revisit lead single "Filthy" below.

In other music news, Tinashe has enlisted Offset for trap-inflected banger "No Drama." Listen to it right here.
