Kanye West was spotted holding a pair of mystery sneakers yesterday. The angles only allow a clean look at the sole of the shoe, but speculation is already rife as to what sneaker Kanye was holding. Most, naturally, think it’s a new, unreleased YEEZY design, as ’Ye is known to tease upcoming sneakers via paparazzi shots from time to time.

The sneakers in question look to have an athletic sole unit that reminds slightly of the Nike Air Zoom Kukini, albeit with a more exaggerated gap between the heel and the forefoot. The upper looks to be black, though it is almost completely obscured from view, while the heel and outsole are a bright blue.

Some users have speculated that this may be a new version of the D. Rose YEEZYs that have been revealed before. The shoe certainly looks like it could be a basketball shoe, thanks to the performance aesthetic of the sole.
