In April, KAWS unveiled his SEEING/WATCHING plush toy merchandise to accompany the erection of his first permanent bronze piece in China's Changsha International Finance Square.

As a followup, the New York-based artist is releasing a new BFF figure due to be released this May.

The blue vinyl toy, made from alloy and ceramics, now features a set of LED lights within the eyes, allowing it to operate as a glow-in-the-dark lamp. The figure comes with an accompanying pedestal and requires the use of two CR2 batteries for the embedded lights.

The SEEING BFF figures will have a limited run of 250 collectibles and will cost $12,000 without shipping. Pre-orders will be available at DING DONG Takuhaibin at 10 p.m. (EDT) on May 6, with worldwide delivery beginning September 10.
