Staying dedicated to your craft pays off–a simple sentiment that leading outerwear brand Mackage understands. With an unwavering commitment to quality and aesthetics, the Mackage ethos has remained steady throughout the years, helping the brand maneuver into a league of its own.

In its latest move, Mackage has opened the doors to a brand-new flagship store on the famous Rue Saint-Honoré Street, serving as a significant marker in the brand’s almost 25-year history. Created in partnership with the international interior design studio Burdifilek, the Mackage storefront reimagines what a classic retail shop should look like, manifesting an immersive experience for shoppers to deepen their connection to the brand.

In honor of this monumental moment, we decided to help celebrate the opening of the new Mackage flagship. Hosted on Saturday during the heat of Paris Fashion Week, the celebratory mixer saw a blend of fashion aficionados like Paris-based influencers like Sofia de Moser Leitão, Sebastien Doze, and Melissa Bon, join the Mackage team in christening the new luxury space. The event's energy was kept consistent throughout its duration courtesy of sounds from Nadia Keira and Tatyana Jane, a pair of DJs from the French collective 99Ginger.

A night like this couldn’t go undocumented, so we tapped influencers Leitão, Doze, and Bon to capture some notable moments from their time welcoming the new brand on the block.

The minimalist design elements paired with juxtaposing materials used throughout the store create an elevated, gallery-like atmosphere that positions the clothes as the focal point, embodying the true essence of Mackage while at the same time reflecting the palette of the Parisian streetscape found just outside its doors. Located in the heart of the Paris fashion scene, this new storefront represents the luxury outerwear brand securing a seat at the table with the world’s most renowned fashion Maisons.

“Paris was always in the pipeline. It’s the leading city in the world of luxury fashion,” says Eran Elfassy, Founder and Chief Creative Officer for Mackage. “We wanted to be in a specific area where we are pushed and inspired as we continue to elevate.”

While soaking in the ambiance, attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Mackage by browsing the latest collections from the Canadian outwear label. Among the capsules featured, the brand revealed its exclusive Saint-Honoré collection to the public in honor of the momentous occasion. The limited edition 10-item line blends the Mackage classic imagery and stylings with a subtle nod to the fashion heritage embedded in Paris.

With a sustained dedication to quality and functionality, it’s no surprise that Mackage has built enough momentum to reach this milestone. Still, with more to come, the brand has stamped itself on the world stage and deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the other major players in the game.
