If there’s one word that comes to mind when describing high fashion Italian brand Miu Miu, it’s individuality. Not just because their silhouettes, fabrics and accessories possess a carefree, signature style, but because their clothes inspire you to always try something fresh, push your own boundaries, and mix-and-match elements while knowing you’re destined to look fab no matter what. Kicking off 2026 with a bang, Miu Miu have launched Prelude, their new collection that marries their flair for originality with clean-cut, workwear-inspired looks and functionally chic sneakers.

Let’s start off with the sneakers: the Plume, with its full leather upper, is lightweight and flexible, perfect for the low-profile trend we’re bound to keep seeing throughout 2026 and beyond. The Tyre, its sturdier cousin, sports an exaggerated rubber sole paired with crisp, white technical fabric and suede. Miu Miu’s fan-favorite Custom Studio is back as well, with its bevy of trinkets, charms, and other adornments that really let you customize your sneakers to match your very own style, whatever that may be. Don’t be shy—if 2025 has taught us anything it’s that the more charms you can hang off your fave items of clothing, the better.

And speaking of, Miu Miu’s classic bag The Arcadie is also back, as well as a brand new shape, the Beau Bowling, a tasteful cross between fashionable and pragmatic. And when it comes to ready-to-wear, Prelude revisits all their tried-and-true staples, reimagined and redesigned to keep modern aesthetics in mind.

Classic neutral tones like gray, green and khaki come up against playful, poofy micro-minis, cotton canvas, striped rugby polos, trousers, and zip-fronted jacket shorts. It’s utility meets high fashion, which squares neatly with what we’ve come to expect from Miu Miu over the years.
