Editor’s Notes: First launched in Mizuno's 1995 running catalog, the Mizuno Mundo Control was the predecessor to the Mizuno Wave Rider which relaunched last year to fanfare – Highsnobiety collaborated with Mizuno on its own iteration. The Mizuno Mondo Control OG draws directly from the ‘90s original, including the Dynamic Foot Counter and white, purple, and violet colorway. Like many of Mizuno's recent drops, the Mondo Control OG is part of the Kazoku program giving sneakerheads the opportunity to get exclusive and premium new releases first before they become part of Mizuno's main collection.
