Editor’s Notes: After the highly anticipated Highsnobiety x Mizuno Wave Rider Phoenix dropped on our online store and in-store at mita sneakers and Beams, the sneaker is seeing it’s much-anticipated worldwide release today, May 12.
Originally released in 1998, the Wave Rider 1 celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and has thus been reborn in its original form as the Wave Rider 1 OG, Wave Rider 1 No Borders, and now in collaboration with Highsnobiety as the Mizuno Wave Rider Phoenix.
As part of the launch, we recently shared a sneaker lookbook and video, as well as hosting an exclusive event for Gallery Weekend Berlin. Following the build-up, the sneaker is, at last, available worldwide from a network of respected retailers.
