New Balance’s timeless catalog is defined by a number of unchanging familiar favorites. The 990 family, for example. But every so often, a new silhouette worth your attention sneaks into the rotation. Enter, the T500, only at New Balance.

Yes, the New Balance T500 is generally available, but brand just released a preview of an incredibly versatile new colorway coming exclusively to the NB site.

Tennis sneakers have long been up there with the most adaptable footwear options on the market. Every brand has their signature shoe, and almost all of them are icons in their own right.

The New Balance T500 actually dates back to 1982, but the design has a timeless, even modern quality to it, differentiating it from its fellow market leaders which are all distinctively retro.

Japanese golden brand AURALEE chose the silhouette as the basis of its FW25 collaboration with New Balance, dressing it in neutral brown and cream and thereby giving it the minimalist’s seal of approval.

But now New Balance wants to show a more colorful side to the design. As part of the label’s Only at New Balance range, an exclusive dusty pastel colorway will soon be available.

Listed as Pearl Grey with Sea Salt, the color palette combines soft purple with white and dusty grey. The result is the perfect outfit for a shoe that already has versatility on its side: the ideal update in time for spring.
