The state of footwear is always at its best when Nike lets its hair down.

The burgundy "Team Red Pony Hair" Nike Air Force 1 Low sneaker is a cherry cola take on the Swoosh's hairiest shoe genre.

Nothing spells fall like a deep burgundy dye job. The tufted fur upper is a rich cherry red across the upper, including the equally dense Swoosh that blends into the thick brush of the sneaker, while the burgundy rubber outsole breaks up some of the shoe's fuzzy goodness.

Before Nike took the Air Force 1 down this layered cherry cola road, the Swoosh has added extensions to the AF1 in the past.

This includes a Lorax-coded ginger iteration that looks like it came straight out of the Truffula Forest.

In general, hairy Air Force 1 sneakers are quite the burgeoning demographic. No seriously. The Swoosh put rat fur on a mousey little Air Force 1, turned a black AF1 into a stunning black panther, and even swaddled a stone iteration of the sneaker in its very own ice blonde wig.

But as it stands, this burgundy Air Force 1 is the deepest red head on the Swoosh's roster. Comb sold separately.
