Jumpman fans will certainly remember the Jordan 1 High Yellow Toe or 'Taxi' colorway being teased on Instagram earlier this year. It sent many fans into a frenzy. What deepened that frenzy was the fact that there was then no news about the apparent release for months. Until recently. The Nike Air Jordan 1 High Yellow Toe will hit retail on September 24, but you can secure your pair at StockX already.

Taking after the fan-favorite Black Toe, the Yellow Toe or Taxi colorway is based around classic Jordan color blocks. Set against a largely white and black leather upper are yellow panels to the collar, toe box, and outsole. While many thought these yellow sections would be dressed in the brand’s University Gold hue, they’re actually rendered in Taxi Yellow, which first appeared on the OG 1996 Air Jordan 12.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 High Yellow Toe is the perfect cocktail of hype and history. One thing that really attracts us is that this isn’t just a Retro rerelease. This is a brand-new colorway but it earns its stripes by referring to some signature moments in Jumpman history.

How much does the Nike Air Jordan 1 High Yellow Toe cost?
