What We’re Saying: Jordan Brand unveiled its Fall 2021 collection some time ago, giving us a preview of ten models that will be making their way to retailers during the FW21 season. As has been the case over the past few seasons, Nike has placed an emphasis on women’s exclusive colorways.
Four of the 14 are designed with women in mind and, while social media was left underwhelmed by the colorways and models that are set to drop, the best of the bunch is undoubtedly the women’s Nike Air Jordan 4 (above).
Officially, the Air Jordan 4 is inspired by the various nude tones of makeup. Unofficially, though, the sneaker has clear Off-White™ x Nike Air Jordan 4 vibes and might be the best affordable alternative to its limited-edition cousin. Other social media users were quick to point out that the Air Jordan 4 also has a bit of Hender Scheme inspiration in it, due to the muted neutral tones used on the upper and midsole.
The Nike Air Jordan 4 “Shimmer” will be released on September 3 via Nike SNKRS and a range of retailers.
