Nike just made its rugged C1TY sneaker even more, well, rugged.

The latest "Light Khaki" pairs arrive with the standard outdoor-ready touches, such as sturdy lug-rubber soles, hiking-style laces, and practical pull tabs. But this time, Nike has also added Cordura weave for military-grade durability.

Cordura is a super-strong, lightweight nylon material often used in tactical and military gear as well as workwear. It's also been used to toughen and extend the life of classic sneakers, resulting in ruggedized Nike Air Force 1s and P-6000 dad shoes.

It also makes already outdoorsy Nike C1TY Premium sneakers even better.

In addition to developing some tougher skin, the Nike C1TY sneaker also offers a nice ACG-style look, blending "Light Khaki" hints of purple and red.
