Nike’s Techy Jelly Sneakers Is Dadcore Gone Delicious
First, the shoe gods gave us jelly sandals. Then, Nike gave the world jelly dad sneakers (true story).
The sportswear giant ends the sweltering season with a delicious bang, releasing a jelly-style P-6000 sneaker. The dadcore model maintains its signature layered upper and general chunky-soled look. However, this time, it features these translucent pink overlays, which essentially turns the model into a "jelly" sneaker.
It's all realized in the classic "Pink Foam" colorway, which has been worn by Nike's premium running shoes and most classic Air Max models. It's the perfect scheme for this release as it really leans into the jelly-shoe aesthetic with a fun, summery color option.
The P-6000 sneaker even comes with its own mini jelly sneaker keychain and additional green shoelaces for some added color. It's also joined by a "jelly" Zoom Vomero 5 sneaker.
Nike started the summer off with jelly recovery sneakers. Now, it's closing out the season with sweet dad shoes, which are already available at some stores.
The Nike P-6000 sneaker is now up for grabs on Premium Goods' website for $125, in case any jelly sneakerheads were wondering.
