Editor’s Notes: Nike’s basketball and tennis divisions have teamed up for a crossover that sees two signature shoes, a tennis classic and a modern basketball shoe, come together. Andre Agassi’s Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 comes back in its original “Hot Lava” colorway, while LeBron James’ signature LeBron 16 gets two “Hot Lava” updates in white and black. Both LeBron 16s dropped on May 24, as did the Air Tech Challenge 2 in Europe. The United States gets the Air Tech Challenge 2 on May 28.

The OG Air Tech Challenge series debuted in 1990 and, thanks to Agassi’s eye-catching on-court style, evolved into a bona fide lifestyle classic. The Air Tech Challenge 2 silhouette was relaunched in 2014, albeit fairly unsuccessfully. But with retro performance sneakers enjoying a revival, it's back again.

Fun fact: Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy 2 used the same sole unit as the Air Tech Challenge 2, which is why the silhouette might look familiar to some.
