Just days ago Warner Bros. unveiled the first official poster for its upcoming Ocean's Eleven reboot, Ocean's 8. In continuing to jumpstart buzz surrounding the film, the studio is set to release the picture's initial trailer tomorrow. Ahead of that, however, we've just received the first teaser for the project.
The 15-second clip in turn finds Cate Blanchett’s character Lou questioning Sandra Bullock’s Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of George Clooney’s character Danny from previous Ocean's movies. Then sprinkled throughout are cameos from the remainder of the all-female cast, which includes Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson and Rihanna.
Ocean's 8 ultimately centers around Debbie Ocean recruiting seven other women to aid in pulling off a heist at the annual Met Gala.
In speaking on the film, Bullock recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly, “It’s really fun. Imagine all eight of us crammed into a makeup trailer in the morning. You think that it would be disastrous, but it was heaven, all of us just sharing information, all of us doing three jobs with families, our other jobs, the juggling. And then we get to shoot this movie together.”
Ocean's 8 is directed by Gary Ross, while George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh serve as producers. The movie is due in theaters June 8, 2018.
