Editor’s Notes: Following the release of the ZX 9000 “Meadow Violet,” which references New Jersey's state flower, Packer is back to unveil the second part of its new adidas Consortium collaboration. Here, we get a look at the ZX Torsion “Mega Violet” ahead of this weekend's launch.

As part one of the projects focused on the ability of the meadow violet to thrive no matter the conditions, the second release explores what happens when the surrounding environment pushes things too far. Per packer, the ZX Torsion “Mega Violet” details the meadow violet's transformation from a symbol of nature's beauty to a corrupted byproduct of its environment. The color palette of the sneaker showcases darker, muddy tones, while the gradient purple stripes are reminiscent of the ZX 9000.

The ZX Torsion incorporates pigskin, hairy suede, black nubuck, and plum-colored mesh while being outfitted with translucent outsole panels. The sneaker also features a modified heel pull-tab, nubuck lace dubraes, co-branded tongue loops, and graphic-printed insoles.

Packer's adidas ZX Torsion “Mega Violet” releases at noon this Saturday, October 12, at both Packer locations and online.
