Editor's Notes: Thought Patta szn was over? Think again! The Dutch retailer is back with Nike for another special Air Max 1 that again makes the most of the special "Wave" pattern atop its midsole.

This "Noise Aqua" sneaker follows the "Monarch" colorway that dropped earlier this month, and — dare I say — it's an even better fit for the shoe. That perfectly pale palette of Noise Aqua and Pure Platinum intermingled with panels of off-white is just *chef's kiss*.

According to Patta, the AM1 is the "signature shoe of Amsterdam," which is an interesting Dutch fashion fact I was not clued into. About time that the rest of the world caught up, eh?

To really affect the communal feel, Patta has gone the extra mile with a commemorative shoebox and silver charm bracelet that brings together the Patta logo, Nike Swoosh, and the Suriname flag to salute Patta's heritage ("Patta" means shoe in Surinamese).

Fans have much love for Patta's latest Air Max. On Highsnobiety's recent Instagram post showcasing the two collaborative colorways side-by-side, the reception was overwhelmingly positive, but most commenters had eyes only for the "Noise Aqua" pair and I don't blame 'em.

Though the sneakers are definitely gonna be the main attraction — and only speak to the rising strength of Nike's Air Max 1 silhouette — Patta will also launch a complementary selection of apparel alongside the "Metallic Silver" kicks, including a new iteration of its signature tracksuit.

If nothing else, the clothing will make a worthy rebound for everyone who misses out on the sale.
