Editor's Notes: If you've ever dipped a toe into K-Pop, I have no doubts that you're familiar with G-Dragon. You're not known as the "King of K-Pop" for nothing, and the South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, and fashion designer has certainly earned his accolades.

My first experience with the star was through Skrillex on the 2014 album Recess. I'd never heard of K-Pop at the time, and something about his vocal performance was captivating, leading me down a deep hole of his music, new and old. One thing to note from his musical performances and accompanying videos is that the guy certainly doesn't lack style or flair.

This penance for bold aesthetics presents itself perfectly through G-Dragon's ongoing collaboration with Nike. A somewhat underrated, under-the-radar team-up that arrives via the star's Peaceminusone brand, it's so far delivered three releases, each of which has been met with warm praise.

First to arrive on the scene was the Peaceminusone Air Force 1 "Para-noise," which took the fan-favorite AF1 Low in its traditional white upper and paired it with a black Swoosh; laces, heel branding, and midsole scuffing.

The success of this release was met with a follow-up that inverted the first look, resulting in a white-on-black finish with the same details.

What came next was certainly a departure from what many would consider the "norm" from a Nike collaboration, as the duo dipped into smart casual wear with the Kwondo 1.

Revamping a brogue with sneaker design language, the silhouette was met with strong success with its first full white coloring, which is now complemented by a "Panda" remix.

For the lovers of "Panda" Dunk Lows, perhaps a tuned-up version is exactly what their rotation needs ahead of the seasonal transition.
