Sneakerheads are bombarded with news of upcoming releases on a daily basis. To save you some time from searching each and every site and leak account, we've taken it upon ourselves to sift through the onslaught and bring you a few noteworthy kicks that have captured our attention.

Today, we're bringing you a first look at PLEASURES' latest collaboration with adidas featuring the iconic Superstar. Slated to release later this month, the Superstar follows the brand's first Three Stripes project from 2019, which centered around another classic silhouette in the Samba.

In other collaborative footwear news, Vans has tapped hip-hop artists Denzel Curry and CHIKA to customize the Old Skool, delivering designs that point to each musician's unique voice. And for another joint release from adidas, you can look forward to the continuation of SNS' Hometown Love Series, as the retailer/brand is issuing a Berlin-inspired take on the GT.

As we're beginning to enjoy the warm weather season in the states, the running craze will likely pick up where it left off in 2020, leaving many in need of a new pair of runners. New Balance has a top tier makeup on the way in the form of the FuelCell RC Elite v2, which is made to go full throttle.

Read on to get the latest info about the PLEASURES x adidas Superstar and more.

PLEASURES x adidas Superstar

Release Date: May 27

Where to Buy: Retailers like Nice Kicks

Editor’s Notes: PLEASURES is lending its familiar punk rock aesthetic to the adidas Superstar for the two brands' latest collaboration. Here, we find the influential sneaker dressed in black leather, resulting in an undeniably stealthy look of which the Alex James-helmed label has become known for. The customary Three Stripes branding appears in translucent form on the side of the shoe, while red PLEASURES markings signal the collab on the side and the heel. The co-branded Superstar then comes with white laces to provide additional contrast.

New Balance FuelCell RC Elite v2

Release Date: May 19

Where to Buy: New Balance

Editor’s Notes: In just a matter of days, New Balance will be delivering the updated version of the FuelCell RC Elite, a race day model built for distance running. The performance sneaker is jam packed with NB's most recent tech innovations, including the brand's highest rebound midsole compound featuring ACL foam and a full-length carbon fiber plate implemented for maximum energy return. The lightweight and breathable upper of the FuelCell RC Elite v2 is complemented by oversized 3D NB branding that gives the shoe added stability.

Denzel Curry and CHIKA x Vans Old Skool

Release Date: Available now

Where to Buy: Vans

Editor’s Notes: Vans has called on hip-hop artists Denzel Curry and CHIKA to customize one of its flagship silhouettes, the Old Skool. With each iteration drawing from the musicians' respective personality, Curry's design points to his love of comic books and anime, featuring scenes from his new comic book, Hail Trails: 7th Player, while CHIKA's pair references the artist's astrological sign of Pisces with hand-drawn koi fish scales.

SNS x adidas GT "Berlin"

Release Date: May 21

Where to Buy: The SNS app

Editor’s Notes: SNS is celebrating Germany's capital with the latest delivery from the Hometown Love Series. Rooted in football culture, the GT "Berlin" is a nod to the OG adidas Berlin, as SNS has opted to switch the shades of Clear Sky and Collegiate Navy, and keep the gum rubber midsole. Up top, the sneaker is crafted from premium suede with leather overlays, boasting Three Stripes branding and additional gold foil motifs. The shoe's insoles are printed with a map of Berlin to further commemorate the release.
