Editor’s Notes: PUMA officially has a chokehold on our childhood memories. After announcing two Transformers RS-X sneakers, the shoemaker is warming up its engines for the release of a major Hot Wheels collection to celebrate the toymaker’s 50th anniversary.

The “Bone Shaker” — a reference to the 2006 Black & Gold Rodger Dodger die-cast car — is served up in black with a drippy gold formstripe and quarter. Alongside this recent racer release are two other major throwbacks into Hot Wheels' history: the “16” colorway — a reference to Mattel’s first “Sweet 16” production line, and the vibrant orange “Camaro" — a fiery ode to the ‘68 custom-edition racer.

The collaboration drops on December 1 for a retail price of $130 per model. In addition, PUMA has created an apparel collection featuring track pants, a jacket, and a range of graphic tees.
