All eyes are on Paris as Fashion Week takes over the French capital. Head to our Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019 hub to find all the latest news from the industry’s best houses, brands, and designers.

Rick Owens and Birkenstock have presented the next chapter in their ongoing partnership at Paris Fashion Week Men’s FW19, and Highsnobiety was on hand to give you a closer look at the footwear, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the Paris showroom.

The collaborative collection features two models: the Rotterdam and Arizona two-strap sandal.

The former features two fastening straps in contrasting black and white. The bottom strap is rubber with “BIRKENSTOCK” printed across it. The top strap is smooth leather. The footbed features the footwear brand’s signature shock absorption system.

The latter is Birkenstock’s classic two-strap sandal, which Owens has given a black footbed with co-branded detailing. Both straps feature a belt-like fastening system, with the top strap dressed in black and the bottom in reflective silver.

Check out our shots from Rick Owens’ Paris showroom.

Also in Paris, a gothic, metal-influenced FW19 collection from Yang Li's SAMIZDAT diffusion line.
