Key Features: The Rick Owens x VEJA Runner Style 2 features a V-knit upper made of recycled polyester from plastic bottles, a midsole made of 46 percent sugar cane and 8 percent banana oil, and an outsole made of natural cork, 30 percent Amazonian rubber, and 31 percent rice waste. The Runner Style Mid has the same V-knit upper, a new 54 percent bio-based midsole with L-Foam cushioning, and a new 64 percent bio-based cork outsole outfitted with longitudinal and lateral flex grooves for improved comfort.

Editor’s Notes: Rick Owens and VEJA are back with their third collaboration. The Fall 2020 collection consists of the Runner Style 2 and Runner Style Mid, both of which incorporate added sustainable elements.
The Runner Style 2 is a reinterpretation of VEJA's FW19 runner, based around a smoother and lighter sole. The shoe also finds VEJA implementing natural cork in the outsole for the first time ever.
A high-top sock silhouette, the Runner Style Mid also comes with a bio-based cork outsole, as the newly-designed sole unit makes the shoe lighter and more comfortable.
