Rimowa’s newest collection of bags presents a simple solution to a big problem: How to stop spare, empty bags from being a nuisance while traveling.

Currently consisting of two products, a backpack and a gym duffle bag, Rimowa has unveiled a new line of foldable bags.

Crafted from a lightweight and crease-resistant fabric, the bags are designed to fold up and slot conveniently into an internal packable pouch. This means they can be neatly slipped into your suitcase while traveling, ready to be deployed once you’ve reached your destination.

It’s a neat, functional trick. The German label, best known for its bulky and hard-wearing suitcases, has turned its attention to soft-bodied, adaptable bags.

Both of the foldable bags are available now from Rimowa, the backpack costs $420 while the gym bag retails at $450.

The vast range of travel accessories in Rimowa's product offering has expanded. With foldable bags, the luggage expert adds another feather to its bow.
