Double Tap to Zoom

Slipknot have just dropped a surreal short film titled Pollution directed by Shawn "Clown" Crahan and we're obsessed. The twenty-minute clip incorporates the official (and previously released) video for their 2019 track "Nero Forte," and serves as a stunning reminder of the band's aesthetic legacy.

“I set out to make a short film that makes you question your own existence, here in this reality," Crahan explains. "When you lay down in your bed, next to the one you love, do you ever ask yourself - is it possible that this person could slit my throat while I’m sleeping?"

He adds, "Enjoy. Pollution is everywhere.”

Watch the video below and then head here for our deep-dive into how Slipknot's masks continue to influence culture today.
