What We’re Saying: Shortly after Sneakersnstuff co-founders Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson both took to Instagram to tease the sneaker, official images of the upcoming SNS x New Balance collaboration have arrived. For their latest foray, the two imprints have teamed up on the 237, a somewhat newer NB model informed by heritage running shoes from the '70s.

Drawing inspiration from the captivating blue-grey skin colors of the Blue Racer Snake, the SNS x New Balance 237 — aptly dubbed the "Blue Racer" — features a grey and dark blue, mixed-material upper with hits of faux snakeskin and hairy suede, and dashes of neon pink for added contrast.

The New Balance 237 is a less edgy version of the highly popular New Balance 327. Both sneakers are inspired by ’70s running shoes, though the 237 features a much rounder and subtle aesthetic. The 327, on the other hand, features an exaggerated outsole that wraps up the back of the heel, as well as a much more angular midsole.

New Balance focused more on the 327 last year through collaborations and special colorways, though this latest release indicates that the 237 will be getting some shine now.

SNS will be launching its 237 collab alongside a range of matching apparel and a car racing game inspired by the campaign, accessible via the SNS app which is being turned into a retro mobile game console for the project.
