It seems as though DMX isn't the only rapper looking to go up against JAY-Z in an Instagram Live battle. In a recent conversation with Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg proclaimed it should be him facing off with JAY as a part of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland's Verzuz series.

“Biggie passed away, then Nas had it for a minute and then JAY-Z took it and ran with it for a numerous amount of years," Snoop told Fat Joe during an Instagram Live session. "Then 50 Cent came and ran with it for his numerous amount of years. This is me looking at it from the outside, looking at New York rap. So for me, it would be Snoop vs. JAY-Z because he had been the King of New York around the same time I’ve been the King of the West.”

Fat Joe appeared to agree with Snoop Dogg, although he pumped the brakes on the notion that JAY would participate in an Instagram Live battle as he is knowingly introverted.

The conversation took place as Swizz Beatz and Timbaland's Verzuz series continues to garner a huge viewership, most recently thanks to a battle between Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. Others who have participated in the showcase include Boi-1da, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, Sean Garrett, Ne-Yo, Johntá Austin, French Montana, Tory Lanez, Mannie Fresh, Scott Storch, T-Pain, Lil Jon, DJ Premier, RZA, Teddy Riley, Babyface, Ryan Tedder, and Benny Blanco.
