All proceeds raised from Soundsystem On-Air will be donated to charities helping those affected by Covid-19. Donations will be split evenly between Refuge, a UK charity supporting victims of domestic violence, and the Covid-19 Response Fund for the World Health Organization. According to The Guardian, instances of domestic violence are expected to rise over 20% in the UK due to stay-at-home orders, and higher in other parts of the world. The WHO’s Covid-19 Response Fund is a global resource for all countries dealing with the pandemic and supports medical institutions, nurses, doctors, and humanitarian agencies on the frontlines.
